Attention reading lovers: Poe House’s popular Poe & Poets live poetry readings have expanded to include prose authors! Introducing a new author series from Poe Baltimore in partnership with Maryland Writers’ Association: Poe House Presents. Join us the second Sunday of each month as we welcome a new author for a reading of selected Poe stories/poems and an excerpt of their written work!

Author, Michael Maloney, is our featured reader Sunday, February 10th. Michael is the author of _Mile Marker Ten_ and _The Secrets of Miryam_. He will read from Poe’s short story, “The Oval Portrait“, then share an excerpt from his own latest novel.

Michael currently resides in Catonsville, Maryland. Except for brief stints in Boston and San Diego, he is a lifelong Marylander. He attended the Peabody Conservatory and Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. https://michaelmaloneyauthor.com/books

Space is limited so please arrive just before 2PM. This event is included with the price of admission to Poe House. Please note: The House is small with tight winding staircases and may not be suitable for all visitors.
