When the Edgar Allan Poe House opens for the season on April 2, we are proud to host a special photography exhibit entitled “Inspired by Edgar Allan Poe.” Enjoy works from The Baltimore Camera Club, (BCC) inspired by Poe and his works. Don’t miss this chance to enjoy these works while standing in Poe’s House. The BCC members donated all of the images for this exhibition.

About the Baltimore Camera Club: The BCC is the oldest photographic society in the USA (incorporated 1884). The mission of the club is the promotion of the art and sciences of Photography in all its branches, through the association of its members for study and education in matters relating to photography; for photographic exhibitions and contests, and for any purpose which will promote greater interest and betterment in the knowledge and practice of photography. All are welcome to attend the meetings of the BCC – it’s free – however, only members may enter competitions. There are no qualifications for membership – absolute beginner to world-class expert, there will be something for you.

    Hello…
I am a travel writer for the Reading Eagle newspaper in Reading, PA (and a massive Poe fan). Might you have any high-def images of the Poe House that I could use with a story I’d like to do?

How long will the photography exhibit run?

    • Poe Baltimore says:

Thank you for the interest in the exhibit. At this time, we do not have an end date set, so it should be there for at lease the next several weeks. Once we know an end date, we will update this post.
