IF you’re reading this message, that means you have been an integral part of Poe Baltimore’s first year launch to commemorate and celebrate our city’s beloved denizen of darkness.

So whether you actually visited 203 N. Amity in 2014, enjoyed any of the programs we scheduled throughout the city, or simply shared our mutual love of Poe here on our website– or via Facebook, or @PoeBaltimore on Instagram and Twitter–we want to thank you for being our partners in what we hope will be a long and fruitful future.

How auspicious that we launched during the 100th anniversary of famed Baltimore Museum of Art, and the start of what will soon be the American Visionary’s and Creative Alliance’s 20th year (just to name a few.)

During this 206th anniversary year of Poe’s birth, we hope he would feel pride in the way he is remembered, and that in many years, we’ll join Baltimore’s other treasured cultural institutions by advancing and aging gloriously, while also offering you — our enthusiastic visitors and communities —  a very special place to visit whenever you’re ready.

So, wherever it will happen, we’re looking forward to seeing you in each of our venues in 2015, and thanks again for making 2014 so incredibly special!
