Sat. Dec. 6: Special Poe Book Signing @ the B&O
About this event:
Whether you collect Poe-related books OR perpetually seek the perfect gift for your Poe-loving besties, you won’t want to miss this great opportunity! On Saturday, Dec. 6. between 10am and Noon, we’re partnering with the B&O Railroad Museum to host Baltimore’s first in-person signing of the gorgeously illustrated and newly-released Rockport Books beauty, “Edgar Allan Poe Stories & Poems” by Baltimore-based artist, David Plunkert.
This luxurious first edition hardback features a bevvy of a-POE-priate, Gothic-influenced illustrations, and when you see it, we think you’ll agree that it may well become a collector’s favorite and gain value as time goes on. Plus, here’s your moment to chat with David while he personalizes your signed copies.
The B&O Railroad Museum is located at 901 W. Pratt Street (21223) and offers plenty of free, secure parking. Plus, for each purchase on 12/6 of this $25 book, you’ll receive $2 off admission to the B&O and a voucher for FREE admission to the Edgar Allan Poe House & Museum. (The B&O RR Museum will accept cash or credit card for your purchase and will provide a pass for your free EAP House visit.)
So, please save the date: Saturday, December 6, between 10am-Noon @ the B&O Railroad Museum. We’ll enjoy seeing you then!
And if that’s not enough, AFTER the signing, David will stop by the Poe House & Museum to chat with our visitors.
