Events > 2015 > January > Poe's Birthday Celebration

About this event:

Created by Poe Baltimore

Edgar Allan Poe was born on January 19, 1809, and to honor his 207th birthday, the Edgar Allan Poe House & Museum (203 N. Amity) will celebrate one of our City’s most famous denizens by offering free public admission to all who visit between 11am-1pm on Saturday, January 16, or 11am-3:30pm on Sunday, January 17, 2016.

We will also have a party, exhibition and benefit at a location to be announced. This event, our second “POE-Zella!”, is a free juried Poe-inspired party, benefit exhibition, and silent auction. It is scheduled for January 16 from 2-6 pm. (Time subject to change)

Entry to this special event is free, though donations at the door are encouraged to help sustain the mission to promote and interpret Edgar Allan Poe’s life, death, and legacy in Baltimore.

More information will be released between now and the event, so stay tuned here and on our Facebook and Twitterfeeds.
