Mourning Words
Photography Exhibit by Crystal Micriotti

This collection of photography emulsions on metal visually walk the viewer through Westminster Hall & Burying Ground and grave marker of 19th-century Gothic author Edgar Allan Poe, in Baltimore, MD. With photographic focus on the quirky details, plant growth, strange angles, unmarked graves, and the discrete spots tucked away, this quaint stone necropolis in the middle of a bustling city is filled with knowledge, dramas, stories, and a life with its own secrets to share. Each piece is hand stamped with titles from some of Edgar Allan Poe’s writing and poetry. The exhibit is free as part of admission to Poe House, November 1 thru Dec 31.
