The Poe House Presents reading series returns in 2020 with a new slate of Maryland authors from the Maryland Writers’ Association. Join us the second Sunday of each month as we welcome a new author for a reading of selected Poe stories/poems and an excerpt of their written work. Leslie Gray Streeter will read Poe’s poem, “The Bells“, as well as excerpts from her memoir, Black Widow.
Leslie Gray Streeter is a proud native of Baltimore City born just down the street at Mercy Hospital. A graduate of Baltimore City College High School and the University of Maryland at College Park, she is an author and journalist currently writing for the Palm Beach Post. Her memoir Black Widow was released in March. She is the proud mother of Brooks Robinson Streeter-Zervitz, because Baltimore.
