The Poe House Presents reading series returns in 2021 with a new slate of Maryland authors from the Maryland Writers’ Association. Join us the second Sunday of each month as we welcome a new author for a reading of selected Poe stories/poems and an excerpt of their written work. Sign up for this and other Poe House Presents sessions at http://PoeHousePresents2021.eventbrite.com.
Cherrie Amour (Woods) will read Poe’s poem, “The Lake,” then read from her poetry memoir, Free to Be Me, Poems on Love, Life and Relationships and her second yet-to-be-published poetry manuscript, In My Skin (working title.)
Cherrie’s candid, narrative style of poetic verse inspires diverse audiences. Cherrie’s spoken word is recorded on two CD projects “ilovemesomewords” and “Love’s Journey” and her poetry in her book Free to Be Me, Poems on Love, Life and Relationships.
