Dear PoeFriends,

It is with great joy that PoeBaltimore launches our brand spanking new website, which will be a platform that we will use to keep you all abreast of our news as we get our feet under us and take off at a run.

Tuesday, September 4, the organizing board of PoeBaltimore met for the first time at the Enoch Pratt Free Library – the Poe Room, of course!  It was an exciting meeting of the minds, and the energy that everyone brings to this new project is palpable.

Over the next weeks and months, we’ll be posting news and stories to keep you updated on the progress of the project.  The City of Baltimore is putting the finishing touches on the formal documents that the IRS needs to have for us to become a real, certified 501c3.  More fun, though, is the process of finding new board members to add their talents and expertise to our small band.

Interested in joining us?  We’re looking for you!  Send an e-mail through the “Contact Us! Join Us” tab over there on the left of the page.
